HITOSHI KODAMA

All furniture in Pilat&Pilat’s Famylje collection bears the name of a loved one, together they form a family of furniture. Bart Vos’ table set and chair bear the name of Hitoshi Kodama (1931-2021). This Japanese writer devoted his life to creating the Frisian-Japanese dictionary. The name Hitoshi Kodama stands for the connection between Frisian designs and Japanese ideas.
