The starting point of the Berend series is simple; the possibilities are extensive. A cupboard element is placed on a base with a steel frame, the lower table. The dimensions of both elements and the position of the cabinet element on the lower table determine what Berend will look like. In addition, the choice of wood type, finish and use of color partly determines the unique character of a Berend.
A lower table is possible with a height of 30 or 50 cm. The narrowest, a wall table of 2 compartments wide is 89 cm. Each subsequent size is 43 cm wider. The widest is 7 sections wide and therefore 304 cm.
The cabinet element is 23, 44 or 86.5 cm high; the depth is always 40 cm. The narrowest cabinet element is 46 cm (1 compartment), increasing by 43 cm. The widest cabinet element has 7 compartments and is 304 cm. The cabinet element of 23 cm high always has flaps, cabinet elements of 44 or 86.5 cm high have doors.
Determining the position of the cabinet element on the lower table completes the configuration.
